I know it says building without mods but things like that umbrella, the suitcase under the bed and the bobblehead aren't in the vanilla game or DLC. Are they from the atom shop or..?

It looks really good. The problem, however, is that the truck is explosive, so once enough shots get through during an attack that things gonna blow sky high.

What a neat idea. It fits with what I love to do which is build on things like garbage piles and over water. My theory is that you would want to make the most of groud that wasn't good for anything else. Making the most of the space you have. This fits that perfectly. And the picket fence is such a nice touch.

I played Fallout 4 for 2 years and my 1 and only camp was made around a Red Rocket but I had to remove all the trash and debris it messed with my sense of order (ocd)

Nice little place. I like the area behind the shack, it's a private area where they can cook and eat. I don't know what you have in mind, but I've always thought that the Red Rocket would be perfect for a roadside cafe/bar with an outside patio area, though this one is on a road that wouldn't get much traffic. It'll be interesting to see what you have in mind. That shack could be advertised as a "mobile home" (if you could get the truck working), and if it catches fire, it has the ability to fly. ;)

Nice little shack! You could do a half wall and build a loft over the cab of the truck. I 💯 agree about the holes in the roof. Makes no sense and I have never liked that. I typically put a ceiling and then the roof when I do builds like this.

Other than the tv, as there would be no tv shows and no point of it, I like it... can't wait to see what you do wiith the rest of the area.

There's a stool with a back on it, I use it to get it aligned properly then swap over to a stool I want.

You can use mortar shells to change the weather. I think you craft them at a chemistry station, put them in a launcher, fire them off

Clinic placed strategically next to a butcher shop, just in case.

Nice little airy island bar setup.. With the bar stools I that I found out was to look at a chair, rotate to where or how you want it placed, back out and scroll over to the stool.. It should still be in the same rotation as the chair, so that when you place it, it'll be how you want your settler to be sitting.. Also, there is a seem that helps with placing it.. Hope this helps, and that you week is off to a great start.. 😊

What a neat idea. I would never have thought of incorporating barn pieces to make a shack, so naturally everything looks a bit samey. Can't wait for my next playthru.

For getting that last pier centered, and snapped, you can put one of the square floor pieces on either outside edge, and it should snap to that.

What a cute little simple bar setup. Great idea for smaller type settlements. Or even have a couple or three of them for larger ones.

I really - Relly? - like the open build for the bar, it seems quite appropriate for a seaside community. I also noticed that, with the floor you used where the boards are not tightly together, that the grass poking through seems kind of natural. Of course Carla was the first one there - you can go anywhere and she'll turn up eventually. At least the Brahmin is staying off of the canopies. ;) This is a great little town. You've got a bar, fishing, and swimming - if you're brave enough. ;)

You're a huge inspiration for my personal settlement builds, i love the level of detail and love you put into these!

So it turns out that its not a roof for the camp, it's.....a Brahmin hammock!😆

So a heavily laden Brahmin can jump up onto a canopy, but a player can't? There's a serious gap in abilities here. Later in the game you can get a jet pack, though. It's cool because they put areas in the game that you can't get to otherwise. I don't even want to think about how a Brahmin powers their way up there. ;)

Some of the wall pieces are order of operation. That wood one that has blue has to go last, nothing wants to snap to it, but it will snap last.

Very nice, I am level 28 and just starting to try lighting up settlements.

Regarding improving the view when placing items... if you hold down A, you can use the left thumbstick to move the item away from you or towards you. This will give you a wider field of vision. You can also hold A and L1, and the use the left thumbstick to raise and lower items, which is handy for placing higher walls and roof pieces

This Nordhagen series is brilliant. You have inspired me to make my own Nordhagen fishing village. Which CC pack is the surfboard decor in please?

I visited the phillipines, and those raider tents are everywhere for shade and in the outer provinces everything looks scrappy but people make do.

Damn that’s awesome it looks perfect in the setting. People talking about fixing windows and what not are crazy this is a fantastic build!

Nordhagen is coming along nicely! Personally I couldn't play the game without mods now though, I'm too used to using them (especially 'Place Everywhere').
